Our home enjoys the peace and quiet of a residential area and is only three houses off the Niagara River; offering easy access to both the Rainbow, Peace and Whirlpool Bridges to the USA.

Ellis House Bed and Breakfast is a lovely victorian two-story home built in circa 1847. Ellis House has been restored with love and care to provide all the modern conveniences and complete comfort to our guests. This guest home offers both antique charm blended with modern and traditional furnishings and decor. Guests have dedicated use of our formal living room and guest sitting area any time. Guest are encouraged to enjoy the warm glow of our fireplace, relax and unwind, read a book, have that glass of wine or watch TV. Guests may also enjoy our complimentary beverage centre ; mini bar fridge, microwave, water cooler, coffee maker and is available 24hrs a day in our front entrance foyer.
Ellis House takes pride in displaying its professionally landscaped gardens and 100 year old Maple tree's. Our entire back yard has been transformed into a place of relaxation. This guest area invites you to relax under a beautiful gazebo and the cool shade of its many 100 year old maple trees. We also offer our guests the enjoyment of a hand crafted custom guest patio deck located in the front yard. This patio offers complete serenity, cool evening breezes off the Niagara River.... total relaxation.
Visitors to our Bed & Breakfast can enjoy a non-smoking environment throughout. To ensure the comfort of all guests, we request that smoking be permitted on the veranda outside.
Every suite is NON Smoking and pet FREE.

Ample FREE parking is available on site and we recommend that you save money, time and the environment and enjoy the Niagara People Mover transportation. The shuttle (People Mover) is a block away from the house. This is an air conditioned shuttle that will take you to the Falls and all the other tourist attractions. Enjoy shuttle service as you don't have to pay for parking, you don't have to find your way around, you don't have to waste gas and get in and out of a hot car..... relax and unwind and enjoy the views along the Niagara River and ride in complete comfort.

We strive to go out of our way to keep informed about local events, Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino shows, Shaw Festival and other information pertaining to Niagara Falls Tourist Venues and upcoming local attractions found around the beautiful Niagara Peninsula.
Just a short drive north of Niagara Falls along the spectacular Niagara Parkway is the charming old town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, featuring numerous boutiques for the eclectic shopper in you.

As you drive out of the old town "Niagara on the Lake", following Lakeshore Blvd, and you'll find yourself in the heart of Niagara Wine Country. We currently have 65 wineries in Niagara, all producing world-class wines. Don't hesitate to stop in at a winery like SunnyBrooke Farms to sample a few of their more than thirty wonderful fruit wines. Most wineries offer free tours and a complimentary tasting. All wineries have boutiques where you can sample and purchase Niagara's award winning vintages. Many award-winning wines are produced in limited quantities and as a result can only be purchased at the winery itself. On the subject of wines, it bears mentioning that Niagara is the premier location world-wide for production of ice-wine, a unique and exquisite dessert wine which is currently being shipped all over the world. No visit to Niagara would be complete without a tasting of our justly famous, world-renowned, Niagara Ice-Wines.
As you continue your drive along Lakeshore(Niagara Falls Parkway), you'll be driving through the premier agricultural land. Lush and green, almost exotic-looking, you'll be glad you brought along your camera. Roadside farm stands selling the freshest of local fruit and produce abound. You can sample the sweetest sun-ripened peaches, of course a variety of grapes, plums, apricots, cherries, and so much more.
For those people who are interested in how large ships move through channel locks, when you reach the Welland Canal, turn left and follow the Canal Parkway. You'll discover the Flight Locks in Thorold, where ocean-going ships and lakers are "raised/lowered" the height of the Niagara Escarpment. On a typical summer day, you'll see a number of ships at various heights as they "climb the mountain".
You'll find Niagara-on-the-Lake a charming place to visit for the day. Return home to Niagara Falls, put your feet up for a rest a while in your comfortable and elegant Bed and BreakfastAccommodations or Executive Apartment Accommodations.

The Niagara Falls parks and flower-gardens beckon you around every turn. The justly world-famous Niagara Horticultural School with it's Butterfly Conservatory, is just the place to spend a day wandering around it's numerous gardens. If you love roses, you'll love the Horticultural School. But don't linger too long: so much more beckons. The Maid of the Mist is a "must do" activity. The Journey Behind the Falls gives you a spectacular and unique vantage of the mighty Horseshoe Falls, and the White Water, across from the unique and interesting Buddhist Temple (well worth visiting, and do take the tour), is also at the top of the list of things to do.
